Cephalosporin ia a group of broad-spectrum beta-lactam antibiotics iclude cephradine, cephazolin, cephalexin, and cefadroxil (the first generation); cefuroxime, cephamandole, cefaclor, cefprozil, and cefoxitin (the second generation); cefotaxime, ceftazidime, cefodizime, ceftriaxone, cefixime, cefpodoxime, ceftibuten, and cefpirome (the third generation).
