DERIVATION

CLASSIFICATION

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

1,3-Butadiene is extracted with C4 mixtures from Naphtha cracking. Its purity is  over 99.5wt% using DMF(dimethyl formamide) as extracting solvent. Remained C4  raffinate after extraction takes addition of hydrogen to use for producing C4 LPG,  or MTBE by a reaction with methanol.
