Local: Oxyclozanide is a salicylanilide anthelmintic used in flukes and tapeworm segments in cattle and sheep. It is a off-white powder with no odor; slightly soluble in water; soluble in acetone, ethanol; melting point 205 C. Chemical designation is 2,3,5-trichloro-N-(3,5-dichloro-2- hydroxyphenyl)- 6-hydroxybenzamide.
