APPLICATIONS

Phenoxypropionic acid is used as a precursor in antibiotic fermentations especially for penicillin V and is a main skeleton of plant growth regulators and herbicides. It is used as an intermediate for manufacturing dyes, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, fungicides. It is used in flavoring.
